1. General Scope & B2B Restriction

Cinnamon Travels Worldwide, LLC ("The Provider") operates a specialized logistical notification infrastructure. This service is strictly Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (Transaction Only). Access is restricted to authorized corporate clients with active Service Agreements.

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all users of our email notification and communication infrastructure, including any downstream services that route messages through our platform.

2. Nature of Allowable Traffic

Strictly Prohibited: Marketing, Promotions, Cold Outreach.

Our infrastructure utilizes downstream providers (including Mailgun and AWS SES) strictly for transactional and system alert messages. Allowed use cases include:

  • Itinerary confirmations, changes, and cancellations.
  • Invoice and billing notifications.
  • Duty of Care / Emergency safety alerts.
  • Account verification (2FA) and password resets.
  • System maintenance and service status notifications.

Any attempt to use our infrastructure for marketing, advertising, newsletter distribution, or promotional campaigns will result in immediate account suspension.

3. Consent & Opt-In Requirements

We enforce a strict Contractual Opt-In policy. No email is sent without prior verifiable consent established through an active Service Agreement between Cinnamon Travels and the corporate client.

  • Prohibition on Purchased Lists: The use of purchased, rented, or scraped email lists is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of services.
  • Recipient Verification: All recipient addresses must belong to employees or authorized agents of the contracting company.
  • Opt-Out Mechanism: Although our traffic is transactional, we provide unsubscribe headers where technically feasible, unless the notification is legally required for duty of care or safety purposes.
  • Consent Records: We maintain logs of the contractual basis for each recipient, available for audit upon request.

4. Zero Tolerance Spam Policy

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards spam and abuse. Specifically:

  • Any account generating complaint rates exceeding 0.1% (1 in 1,000) will be immediately suspended pending investigation.
  • Bounce rates exceeding 5% will trigger an automated review and potential account suspension.
  • We actively monitor feedback loops provided by major ISPs and ESPs.
  • All outgoing messages include valid List-Unsubscribe headers and clear sender identification.

5. Prohibited Content

The following types of content are prohibited on our platform:

  • Unsolicited commercial or promotional messages (spam).
  • Phishing, spoofing, or social engineering attempts.
  • Malware, viruses, or malicious links.
  • Content that violates any applicable law or regulation.
  • Defamatory, harassing, or threatening communications.
  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • Deceptive subject lines or misleading sender information.

6. Email Authentication Standards

All email sent through our infrastructure must comply with the following authentication standards:

  • SPF: Valid Sender Policy Framework records must be published for all sending domains.
  • DKIM: All outgoing messages are signed with DomainKeys Identified Mail.
  • DMARC: We enforce DMARC with a policy of p=reject to prevent domain spoofing.

7. Monitoring & Reporting

We continuously monitor all outgoing traffic for compliance. Our monitoring includes:

  • Automated complaint and bounce rate tracking per-client.
  • Content scanning for prohibited material.
  • Volume anomaly detection to identify unusual sending patterns.
  • Regular audits of recipient lists against suppression databases.

If you believe our platform is being used to send abusive content, please report it to abuse@cinnamon-travels.com. We investigate all reports within 24 hours.

8. Enforcement

Violation of this AUP may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of API access and email sending capabilities.
  • Termination of your Service Agreement without refund.
  • Reporting to relevant ISPs, blacklist operators, and anti-spam organizations.
  • Legal action where appropriate.

9. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all users within their organization comply with this AUP. The designated account administrator is accountable for the behavior of all users under their Service Agreement.
